Hands are a cooks best tools and what better way to teach sensory tolerance and regulation than with the hands-on preparation of food! Join us for classes that you and your kids can replicate at home…

Artplay has a full kitchen, complete with stove, so we have decided to bring in cooking specialists to teach families healthy ways to eat with their kids. We have observed that kids do best, emotionally, when their nutritional needs are fulfilled. We will be running sensory cooking classes where kids make food with their hands. This will give sensory seekers, as well as sensory avoiders, a successful low-anxiety experience. Plus, kids are more likely to try food they have prepared.
